Hello, I am Sara!
And this little lady is my Sienna — a Collie–Fox Terrier cross I rescued this year.

But let’s start from the beginning...

My love for dogs began early. I remember taking little side steps while holding my parents’ hands, just to be able to touch a dog, even briefly.

This love only grew stronger over the years!

I have always been around dogs, which helped me learn about their basic behaviour and how to interact with different personalities.

Because of my desire to know more about our best friends, I started attending some IMDT courses in 2020:
-
4-Day Practical Instructors Course
-
2-Day Career as a Dog Trainer Course
-
1-Day Canine Aggression and Rehabilitation
-
Impulse Control Seminar
-
Perfect Puppy Course
Thanks to all these courses, I built an even closer bond with Blakey and Bella, my previous dogs, and helped them become more social, relaxed, and confident while outdoors. Most importantly, they taught me about dog safety.

All this led me to... High Paws!

The idea of High Paws came to me after noticing that, during lockdown, many people in my area welcomed furry babies into their homes.

Once restrictions were lifted and people returned to their busy schedules — often including office hours again — sadly, some dogs were given away, while others experienced loneliness. This often led to changes in their behaviour and left their owners feeling confused.

So, I decided to open my family home to wagging tails and provide a personalized experience where dogs can socialize, exercise, and relax in a safe and loving atmosphere.

My mission is to ensure every dog’s stay is filled with joy, comfort, love, and plenty of tail wags.
To create your dog’s home away from home!
